Pam Learman is an Outreach and Education Specialist with the Ohio Consumers' Counsel (OCC), the residential utility advocate. She joined the OCC in October 2000. As a specialist, Pam's responsibilities include presenting speeches to community and professional organizations on a wide range of topics (regarding electric, natural gas, telephone, and water). She also attends shows and fairs, to increase awareness of OCC's services through speaking with consumers, answering their questions, and distributing information (such as fact sheets, brochures, and newsletters). Pam coordinates outreach and education efforts in Central Ohio.
Prior to joining the OCC, Pam worked at Columbia Gas for 18 years (including four years as a Communications and Community Relations Representative covering 13 southern Ohio offices). Through this work experience, Pam gained extensive knowledge in the natural gas industry.
Pam earned a bachelor of science in business administration from Franklin University.
