Job Description: Responsibilities include project coordination for 2 Ohio Developmental Disabilities Council funded grant programs. Project coordination is provided for the Ohio Governor’s Council Start on Success project. Duties under this project include developing, supporting and monitoring local site student internship programs. Project coordination is also provided for the Benefits Innovators project. Duties include developing and implementing training about disability benefits and the effects of employment on benefits for people with disabilities, employment professional and families. Both projects include monitoring policy changes that will enhance the ability of people with disabilities to participate in their communities as productive citizens.
Education: Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from Capital University, Columbus, Ohio
Personal: Past work experience includes 29 years of professional program, social system development and management experience. These work experiences include coordinating a statewide legislative education and information project, providing work supports and training for people with severe disabilities to participate in the workforce, live and participate in community life as adults and be prepared for inclusive education as children.
