I am Georgia Roll and I am currently employed at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio. I work in Chaplain Service and my job title is Correspondence Clerk (where I have presently been for the past six years). Before taking this position, I worked in Human Resources, also at the VA, as a receptionist (where I worked for ten years).
In addition to my job duties, I am the Chairperson for the disability group, at the Chillicothe VA hospital. I volunteer in the pet therapy program with the Chillicothe VA hospital. I am Treasurer with The Concerned Citizens for the Handicapped and I serve as the Director with Rolling Thunder, Chapter 13. I volunteer at Reinstorm Therapeutic Riding Center (where I help with the office work).
I attended Southeastern Business College, where I earned a diploma in secretarial studies. I am currently attending class, one day a week, at speech center to learn sign language.
In my spare time, I enjoy quilting. I recently finished a quilt in remembrance of a police officer, Larry Cox, (who was killed while participating in a police chase). I donated the quilt to the Chillicothe Police Department
