Eric has served as Public Policy Director of Assistive Technology of Ohio since 2000 and took over as the Director of the Computer Refurbishing and ReDistrubition Program in August of 2005. He is a graduate of Bowling Green State University (with a duel degree in Political Science and History). Eric has extensive experience in Communications and Government Relations and serves as the program's coordinator of public relations and government affairs. He also directs the program's computer recycling program (which has distributed more than 1,000 computers to individuals with disabilities, across the state of Ohio, since its creation in 2004). Prior to joining AT Ohio, Eric was Deputy Press Secretary for then Speaker Jo Ann Davidson and the Majority Caucus of the Ohio House of Representatives. He also worked as Internal Communications Director and Press Assistant for former Governor George V. Voinovich. Eric currently serves as a Board member for the Ohio Community Computing Network (OCCN), a non-profit dedicated to bringing equal opportunity and equal access to computer and network technology. He also serves as a liaison on various boards, commissions, and organizations on behalf of AT Ohio (including the Governor's Council for People with Disabilities, Ohio Developmental Disabilities Council, the Disability Policy Coalition, the Ohio Statewide Independent Living Council, the Ohio Olmstead Task Force, the Medicaid Buy-In Advisory Council, the Ohio Disability Vote Coalition, the Digital Divide Workgroup and various others).
