Eileen R. Arrington was born in Cleveland, Ohio. She attended Warrensville City Schools before attending, and graduating, from Michigan State University (with a Bachelors of Science Degree, in Nursing).
Her specialty fields have been public health and maternal/child health nursing. Education has been her emphasis in the later 15 years of her career. She speaks to a variety of different groups regarding health and wellness.
A diagnosis of multiple sclerosis has presented some job challenges for her. She has been doing volunteer work in the community and continues to speak, to groups, regarding health and wellness. She is a co-facilitator for grief support groups at the Mercy Medical Center and completed the Stephens Ministry Training Program, at the hospital. She is enrolled in a program for laypersons offered by the American Association of Christian Counselors. She has been an advocate for persons with multiple sclerosis and other disabilities for the last two years.
She is married to Dr. Walter J. Arrington and they have three children (Michael, DeAngelo, and Ericka. She believes that all people should have the best quality of life, possible, and she is committed to helping them achieve that status.
